Cascadia Facility Enhancement Initiative
Starting in October 2009, the DMC began receiving data from new TA sites that are part of the new NSF project called the Cascadia Facility Enhancement Initiative.
This project supports EarthScope and MARGINS science objectives, and data from newly deployed Transportable Array seismic equipment is currently coming online, in collaboration with data from networks operated by PBO, GSN, ANSS, PNSN, BDSN and PGC. A virtual network will be created and maintained once the final configuration is ironed out, so refer to http://ds.iris.edu/vnets for this in the coming months.
